
Gaëlle Morello completed her training in classical and contemporary dance at the prestigious Rosella Hightower International Dance Academy in Cannes, France. As a dancer, she was a valued ensemble member of the Stadttheater Hagen, Hildesheim, and Fürth for several years, participating in numerous projects within the independent scene. In 2010, she earned her diploma as a dance educator from the Centre National de la Danse in Paris. Her extensive further education in dance medicine, movement analysis, and kinesiology took her to Paris, Poitiers, and Brussels.
Since 2008, she has worked as a dance teacher in ballet and contemporary dance at various dance academies and schools in Heidelberg, as well as in other cities in Germany (Hagen, Hildesheim, Nürnberg, Marburg) and France (Strasbourg). Additionally, she serves as a trainer and choreographic assistant for professional dance companies such as Theater Hagen, Stadttheater Hildesheim, and Staatstheater Braunschweig. She also teaches dance medicine, anatomy, and movement analysis at several state dance and theater academies (CRC Strasbourg, Mind and Dance Nürnberg, Ecole du TNS Strasbourg). She is invited as a jury member for dance pedagogy examinations in France, particularly in the field of dance medicine.
From the 2013/14 season until 2017/18, Gaëlle Morello directed the "Tanzatelier" at the Theater and Orchestra Heidelberg under the artistic direction of Nanine Linning. Since the 2018/19 season, she has led a youth club at the Jungen Theater, working with children in elementary school as well as young adults through dance. Starting in the 2019/20 season, she has strengthened the team at the Dance Theatre Heidelberg (DTH, artistic direction by Iván Pérez) as a dance educator, organizing educational programs for school classes attending theater performances.
As a choreographer, she has staged several impressive dance pieces for professional and amateur dancers at the Stadttheaters in Hagen, Hildesheim, and the Junges Theater Heidelberg. Since 2021, she has collaborated with Compagnie M as a choreographer for dance and object theater productions.
